when roof caved in and the truth came out

whew.

been a long time between posts.

regionals has come and gone. there were some ups and some downs on the weekend, but ended on a very high note with our game-to-go win against pony.

personally i felt good and my legs felt quick and springy for the weekend.

i took a couple weeks off to finally give my ankle a chance to rest. this might have hurt my endurance a little bit, but i think helped my explosiveness and gave my legs a chance to recharge.

in terms of workouts, i have done some running, a snertz in there, little lifting, some parkour. after lifting this week, my legs have felt like crap. i hate that when i squat, my legs get really sore for a couple days. it doesn't make sense, because i warmup, i stretch after, and i do them with good form. need to figure this out this offseason.

nationals is going to be awesome. we are going to have the chance to play a lot of great teams and force ourselves to get up for consecutive games. i am going to play awesome.

they're taking the hobbits to isengard

last week, i took the whole week off to give my ankle a chance to rest and also the staph a chance to go away.

legs felt good this past weekend, a little bit sluggish since i had rested them, but felt fresh. also had a chance to play with the alums at pat bell, which was very fun.

practice was a good time, good preparation and good running. was quite sore after practice from running in the mud and wet.

stretched on sunday night and then rolled a bunch on monday. also put cleats on, threw around and then did a short sprint workout, focusing on quick steps and powerful, shorter strides. stretched some more after that and rolled more.

ladder workout today. more rolling in order.
