wow
been quite a week. atlanta was dominant. great time. went running a couple days while i was there, staying up to date.
got back, enjoyed some downtime. got back into my routine on wednesday. lifted weights, probably a little too hard. legs felt overworked for a couple of days. be more careful next time. went for a run before i went to practice on saturday. went to new noise practice to get some playing in before tryouts. felt good. wasn't fatigued too much, felt strong and fast on the sprints. got to get my game legs back. stop throwing dumb shit.
i will post more later. a reflection of sorts

white hot heat
been about a week since i posted. really want to do this at least every other day.
get back on track
went for an interval type trail run yesterday. worked out well. really need to push my legs, to stay in that threshold of pain longer. did my 3x10 squat jumps. i think those are actually working.
my team is doing really well. working hard and listening to me. have to really focus on looking to center the disc sooner. like any team, keep the disc moving, options will be there.
really want to get out on the field myself, play some real ultimate. find out where my game legs are.
eating has been pretty good. ate a lot over the weekend, could have been a little better about what i ate, but i am back on track now.
flying to hotlanta this weekend to help coach, pretty f-in pumped.
take some time to reflect each day and make sure you are happy with your output towards your goal. it certainly is not something that is going to be given to you. take time to take it from someone else

blvd. of broken dreams
been awhile since i have sat down and posted. need to do this more often, put more stock in the fact it is a glimpse into how dedicated i am.
this past week has been crazy. started practices, been running pretty consistently, a few more days off than i would have liked, but i will make up for it. more sprints, anarobic type activities. really want to get on the field and test out my field legs, see what i can do.
this week, lot of sprints, stop and go, really work on quickness and acceleration in the first steps. make sure you warmup before pickup.
hopefully going out to boston this weekend to play some pickup with guys that are interested in the new team. show that you mean business from the start.
i have been exhausted. between work, practice, and working out it is taking a lot out of me. how bad do you want to be on the field when it is gametime? it's worth the pain, the grind.
eating has been pretty healthy on the whole. had a few trip-ups, but i have cut down meal sizes and done my best to eat well. think it is paying off.
was told that i look like i am in shape, that's a good sign. shedding a few pounds, keep toning up.
as tired as i am, stay positive going into workouts. know that what you are doing, how hard you are working is worth it. it's what you need to do, to be happy with yourself. this run will pay off when you need, it will pay off when you most and least expect it.
make yourself someone that you look up to
