back from the dead

finally feeling better. after about 3 1/2 weeks of pure shit in my lungs and weird chills and pains racking my brain and body, i feel good enough to lift.

yesterday, went to the gym.

warmed up shooting hoops.

starting a lifting and plyo program out of the "vertical leap development bible". did one program out of it last year with decent results and feel the program i picked for right now will yield even better results. the lower body exercises are the program.
squat; 1x6 @ 95, 1x6 @ 115, 1x6 @ 135, 1x6 @ 155, 1x1 @ 185, 1x1 @ 205, 3x5 @ 165
seated row; 3x8 @ 150. tweaked something pretty badly in my back during the second set. could really use my right leg to stand on.
hamstring curl; nautilus machine at setting "7" i think.
single leg calf raises on stair; 3x20 each leg.
ab bench; 3x30
pretty bad sinus headache by this point and decided to take my time stretching and then head to the sauna.
back loosened up a little, but still kept waking me up last night. iced and took ibuprofen and did more of that today.

2.25 mile run, very easy.
5x 15 yard lead up to 45 yard sprint
throwing.
