then i was shouting

hit the track again today. don't remember the last time i went to the track 3 days in a row. feel good. warm and loose.

did two 1.6 loops. first was warmup, second i pushed harder and stayed in the threshold for a good deal of the run.

stretched a little, took off the sweatpants and shirt and hopped on the track for the miracle mile.

really focused on taking longer, powerful strides to lengthen my legs out and keep them loose. felt good and strong. didn't feel too tired, but definitely happy when i was done.

hopped on the bike, visited the lady at the library (here now) and then headed home.

hoping to watch some t.v. and relax and get ready for this weekend.

gonna be the balls.

push, crave the pain. make the pain not want to be part of you. rise above.

...................stronger

don't know the rest of the words to the kanye song.

went for a great 27 minute run last friday. loosened me up. got to hit some trails and then did a good active warmup and some situps and pushups.

the stretching felt good

practice saturday was pretty tiring. didn't have great numbers, but thank my lucky stars we did have 7's. we learned a new defense and did a lot of sprinting. some gut checks on hard work. kind of pissed that a lot of guys couldn't handle 3 down and backs across the field without getting water.

sunday was lazy. went to a family barbeque and got to watch the pats trounce the jets. sweet.

monday i did my situps and pushups but didn't get a run in.

tuesday i hit the track
warmup and then active warmup

2 laps jog curves, accelerate into sprint on the straights.

2x200 with 45 seconds
2.5 minutes-31,32
2x200 with 45 seconds
4 minutes-33,33
4x200 with 90 seconds
32,33,34,31
5x100
warmdown
situps, pushups
stretch.

hard workout to push through. didn't feel particularly great during or right after. but later on felt great.

wednesday, more track

warmup and active warmup

12x20m with 20 seconds
2 min.
12x40 with 30 seconds
3 min.
6x60 with 45 seconds
4 min.
5x80 with 60 seconds

cool down.

did not feel fast at all. really pushed through each one. working on quick feet, powerful strides and using my entire body. groins felt a little weak and knees weren't too happy.
made it through and that was good.
biked home. rested for a little bit.
situps and then stretch.

we'll see what today holds for me. possibly back at the track. not sure but it will be good to stay loose.

big practice this weekend.

you can show them better than you can tell them.

work harder.

you are the hardest working person on new noise.

cubical gangsta

didn't go running yesterday. wanted to, but put my new bike together, rode down to the pond to show it off and then ended up throwing around for awhile. good to move a bit.

did my situps, skipped pushups and stretched a little bit.

all around, a rather lackluster effort. really need to loosen up today to be ready for practice tomorrow. should be a good one.

not really loving the drive out to boston, but you gots to do what you gots to do.

sectionals soon.

...........be great.

under my um-ber-ella, eh eh eh

back at it.

work is going well. getting my feet wet this week and next week is going to be the real start of the year for me. i think i am ready, there is going to be a lot of learning on my part.

hopefully all the parts come in for my new bike today. getting a wheel, gots to get a chain, and a new handlebar. that will put the price of this bike at $70. not bad. frame swapped with a friend. came with stem, fork, and crank. sick crank. added pedals, new handlebar, front wheel, and rear wheel. one present to myself if i keep riding as much as i am will be a new set of wheels and new crank. give it some time.

ultimate.

did a morning track workout monday. hurt pretty bad, didn't make it as far as i wanted to.
4x200 30,31,31,30

4x200 33,32,34,31

called it a day after that. felt pretty gassed and had to leave.

tuesday i went for a 12.5 mile bike ride. love my fixie. felt really good on the hills, pushed myself.

body felt great wednesday after the ride. went to the track for some speed work

10x20 with 20 sec. in between 2 min. rest
10x40 with 30 sec. 3 min. rest
6x60 with 45 sec. 4 min. rest
5x80 with 60 sec.

really worked on getting a lot of steps in, keeping my feet quick and legs moving throughout entire sprint. also, staying on my toes throughout.

biked home, ate dinner, got my ass kicked in skip-bo by my favorite lady. owned.

stretched, skipped sit-ups and pushups. back at the p-up and s-ups today.

running out of time to work hard. stay at it and keep motivated. you are the hardest working player on the team. act like it. work like it. sweat like it. play like it.

don't need to talk, your play will let people know how hard you work.

love it live

folsom prison

so, that job i mentioned before ended up working out, but not without drama. got told someone else was going to be placed in it instead of me. works out that i am going to be here, so that's good.

nucci's cup champs, not sure if i mentioned that before. went down to jersey and took care of business at a tournament i would have been upset if we had lost at all.

went down to chesapeake last weekend. hot as fuck. we played well. 4-0 in pool play and then moved up to the elite bracket. played clapham, a team from england.
good game. squandered some opportunities that would have made it closer. they were a little careless with the disc and we really didn't take advantage.

played pike next. got throttled. not too worried about that game though. end of a very long, hard fought weekend. a lot of positives to come out with.

myself; i ran out of gas basically in the middle of the clapham game. i felt like shit, couldn't help the team and was not happy with myself. sooooo, training is even more in full swing.

monday was a bit of a rest day. did some situps and pushups.
i need to stretch more often
tuesday was situps and pushups again
i need to stretch more often
wednesday was a track day. went out for a good warm-up run, did my vertical leap plyos, and then really pushed myself on the sprints. feeling quick, but my first steps need to be more deadly.
did situps and pushups and then puked.
first time this year with the vomit. felt much better after
stretched, something i need to do more often.
thursday, back to the track. did a 3.2 mile warm-up/regular run.
active warmup and then miracle mile. mile was allright, could go a little quicker on straights, spend a little more time on the corners
today, we'll see. might be the plyos, maybe just some track stuff. not quite sure yet.

keep being the worker you want the team to be. it will show, it will rub off. it will make you stronger.

noone is working harder than i am

gangsta's paradise

got a job. went out looking and actually found someone to hire me. i am pretty pumped about it. 3,4,5 grade special ed classroom teacher. i think it will be a great experience and i will be able to take a lot away from it.

onto business.

boston team flopped in colorado. got a lot of love for a lot of those guys, not so much for some others. hard to say what my feelings are for them. really want to face them and give them a hell of a game. that's what the training is for.

to the training.

i got rim the other day. a pretty big deal for me. haven't done that in a long time. was getting it consistently for a few days. been continuing with my vertical stuff and making sure to add at least some sprints in. i really need to find some time to run some track work other than the vertical workouts. need to spend a little more time in the threshold.
been riding my bike everywhere. it has really boosted my metabolism. i bought a new scale a couple days ago. one that tells you body fat % and also water %.

here are the results.
152 lbs, 14% body fat, 59% water

pretty happy with all 3. hopped on the scale again today, just out of curiosity and got;
149 lbs, 13.6% body fat, 57% water

interesting. oh well.

things are starting to workout right now. some pieces are falling into the puzzle and some sense is beginning to happen.

keep working hard. you are the hardest working player on noise. noone wants it more than you, noone is willing to sacrifice more pain than you. that is what seperates you from the rest.

be the teammate you want everyone else to be

work

ultibar

been a good chunk of time since last check-in.

got cut. didn't make the team. hurt real bad for a few days. got over it and doing my best to use it to motivate me.

noise is looking positive. very good showing at the invite and won a little tournament this past weekend.

had the opportunity to work at ultimate camp for a week. fuckin sweet. had a massive amount of fun. new faces, new friends, more knowledge. can't wait to go back next year.

been working hard to stay in shape. built a new bike. uncle mike's old frame, some new bars, half a new crank. looks good. really want to spend some more time cleaning it up and making it look better.

i have been doing some vertical leap work. can get rim now, so i have added about 3 inches already. that is good news.

lots going on in general. new apartment, still looking for a job.

no more drinking until after regionals. i can go 60 days without a drink. it will be tough at times, but i think it will pay off.

believe the impossible.

i am now the player everyone is going to look to. lead strong. be the player you want to be and everyone will follow.

i am the rock. i want it more than you. i will be working harder than you and i will beat you.
